ADJUNCT COMMITTEE
Our newly appointed committee chair Virginia Caputo reports that “The Adjunct Committee is currently working on material that will be distributed to adjuncts via campus mailboxes and email at the beginning of the spring semester. It will include information about what the WCCFT is, who the members of the E-Board are, and what rights and benefits adjuncts have. The material will also contain two QR codes: one to easily and quickly join the union and another to access details about monthly information sessions that the Adjunct Committee Chair will hold via Zoom in the spring. Stay tuned!”

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND
Chair Gwen Roundtree Evans reports:
“I am excited to share that we had twenty-five full-time faculty and a total of eight adjunct faculty members to submit applications for reimbursement for professional activities this fall semester. As of November 25th, all checks to the full-time faculty have been issued. I anticipate issuing the checks to the adjunct faculty by the end of the second week in December.
I am indeed grateful to the members of the Professional Development Fund Committee, Professors, Mary Sgro, Susan Arieta, Andres Carpio, Deborah Krikun, Natalie Patasaw and Towanda Mathurin, for their time and commitment. I would also like to give a big shout-out to Prof. Deborah Krikun for creating the new Google application! Also, thank you faculty members for welcoming the new form.”
